RoboForex Review: Cheap ECN Pricing, But Only One Regulator
RoboForex quotes a $2-per-lot ECN commission and a $10 cent account that lets new traders risk real money in fractions of a dollar. All of it sits under a single Belize FSC license with no tier-one backup, and we weighed the two against each other.
Best for: Cost-conscious traders and EA testers comfortable holding funds with an offshore-only regulator
RoboForex's ECN account undercuts most tier-one brokers on raw cost, at $2 per lot per side against a zero-pip spread, and the ProCent account genuinely lowers the bar for a trader who wants to risk real money without risking much of it. None of that changes the fact that RoboForex answers to a single Belize FSC license with no compensation scheme comparable to the FCA or ASIC, so a trader depositing more than they would be comfortable losing outright is taking on a risk the pricing does not fully offset.
Price $10 minimum depositMaker RoboForexroboforex.com
RoboForex has spent seventeen years building a pitch around two numbers: a $10 minimum deposit and an ECN commission that undercuts brokers with far bigger marketing budgets. We opened an ECN account and a ProCent account, tested both against the single regulator standing behind them, and tried to work out whether the price actually compensates for what is missing on the compliance side.
The ECN account is genuinely cheap
RoboForex's ECN tier quotes a 0.0-pip spread on EUR/USD and charges $2 per lot per side, working out to roughly $4 round turn on a standard lot. That figure sits below several brokers we have reviewed that carry tier-one licenses, and it holds even after accounting for RoboForex's own Prime account, a step above ECN that drops the commission further to $1 per side but requires accepting slightly lower leverage caps. Both accounts open with as little as $10, a threshold most competitors do not bother matching.

Execution speed backs up the pricing claim rather than undermining it. RoboForex advertises direct interbank routing on this tier, and nothing in the account comparison materials or independent testing we reviewed flagged the kind of requoting problems that sometimes accompany a broker's cheapest advertised tier.
ProCent turns real trading into cents, not dollars
The Pro and ProCent accounts sit at the opposite end of the lineup: no commission, a spread starting from 1.3 pips, and the same $10 minimum deposit. What separates ProCent from a standard micro account is the denomination itself. A $10 deposit becomes 1,000 US cents, so every trade is sized and priced in fractions of a dollar rather than whole dollars, letting a beginner or an EA developer run genuinely live market conditions without meaningful financial exposure.
